Hey subbies! Today I made another hair butter (this time adding Shea butter to mix) and I thought it would be cool to do a step-by-step picture tutorial. This butter is super moisturizing, that is always my main focus when it comes to making my own hair butters. Moisture is important when it comes to growing long hair, if you have weak and brittle hair you won’t see any growth. This butter will also have your hair smooth and shiny.
- mango butter
- shea butter
- coconut oil
- avocado oil
- shea nut oil
- jojoba oil
- lavender essential oil (this is by far my favorite fragrance, I love love love love love it!)
Alrighty, let’s get into the tutorial. ♥
Place 1/2 cup mango butter & 1/4 cup shea butter into the double boiler
Wait until the butters melt completely, and it’s very important to watch the mix and don’t let the oils come to a boil!
Add coconut oil to the mix to let it melt completely as well, only takes about 10 seconds, and remove the oils from the heat.
I left the mix in the fridge for about 5 hours.
Hope you guys enjoyed this pic tutorial. Have fun making your own! Your hair will thank you. XOXO ♥
