Basically this is my version of a leave in conditioner in spray form. I spray this onto my hair before I apply mymoisturizing oil blend and mango butter moisturizer. Hair comes out super fleeky and my curls are left so soft and fluffy, and most importantly hydrated!
This spray is coconut water & aloe vera juice based. Coconut water tames frizzy hair, reduces hair fall, helps treat dandruff and dry scalp, and is hydrating for both your hair and scalp. Aloe vera juice is a bomb conditioner. It adds shine to your hair and controls frizz. The vitamins and minerals it has in it strengthens, adds luster and help relieve scalp conditions such as psoriasis. And it also….. makes yo hair GROW because it contains protolitic enzymes that can get rid of the dead skin clogging hair follicles, which can interfere with new hair growth. Additionally, the alkaline in aloe vera juice balances the pH level of the hair, which promotes healthy new growth.
Argan oil is proven to make hair softer, silkier and shinier. It is the ideal hair conditioner, and it can even help to treat split ends and tame frizzy hair.
Jojoba oil replenishes the moisture and improves the texture of your hair; it also treats dry scalp and gets rid of dandruff. It adds shine and softens and eliminates frizz naturally.
So how do I make this leave-in conditioning spray??
Well first, you need a spray bottle to put it in. You can find these in the dollar store and at any beauty supply, or department store you go to. I bought the oils from HEB, and the coconut water with aloe vera juice from Trader Joe’s. However, if you can’t find this particular one, aloe vera juice can be bought from any vitamin store and coconut water is pretty much at any grocery store.
- Halfway fill the spray bottle with the coconut water and aloe vera juice
- Add 1 tbsp. of jojoba oil
- Add 1 tbsp. of argan oil
Shake it up, and spray it onto your hair before you apply the moisturizer and style ya hair, or let it do what it do and be free. You’ll notice off rip how soft, moisturized and smooth these products used in combination with each other will make your hair.
P.S. This spray needs to be kept refrigerated because it is perishable!
